Air Intake System

March 14, 2008
Chilling intake air to the carburetor dramatically increases engine horsepower and fuel economy. On mild to hot days the ambient temperature under your hood can easily exceed 120°F. Our observations have shown that for each 10°F reduction of air intake temperature, you gain approximately 3½ percent horsepower, plus increased fuel efficiency. Our patented SUPERCOOLER systems capitalize on this effect by recycling a wasted source of refrigeration. Our customers are reporting from 20-25 percent increased fuel economy.
