Solenoids

Jan. 10, 2008
Waytek, Inc., an electrical wiring supply distributor, recently added Solenoids to their product line.

Solenoids remotely switch high electrical current when a much lower current is applied to its electromagnet coil. They can be used in automobiles, trucks, buses, trailers, agricultural, recreational, marine and construction equipment. Solenoids are similar to a relay, but they can be used for heavier duty applications, such as a starter motor.
