NITE

The NITE battery powered idling-reduction system, from Bergstrom Inc., brings efficiency and significant fuel savings to customers. The NITE system is designed to supply a comfortable level of cooling and heating to long-haul heavy-duty trucks without relying on the main truck engine for power. The system instead uses an independent, electrically driven air conditioner and a diesel fuel-fired auxiliary heater. The NITE system can be retrofitted on existing trucks or specified on new trucks. Bergstrom offers the NITE system in four configurations tailored to a spectrum of operational needs offering full payback in as little as one year.
