Lock Technology’s timing gear pliers, No. LT-995, aid in removal and replacement of timing gears and serpentine belt pulleys. It helps timing gear removal by preventing rotation of timing gear sprocket while retaining nuts or bolts are removed, and prevents camshaft rotation during timing gear removal by eliminating valve/piston interference and subsequent damage. The kit includes six sets of interchangeable composite inserts which safely grip timing gear teeth.
