Rapidaptor quick-release bit holders

Feb. 26, 2008

Wera Tools has unveiled their new line of Rapidaptor quick-release bit holders, which work without having to adjust the clamping sleeve. The holder's self-locking system is activated as soon as the bit touches the screw's recess, providing what the company feels is a more secure and wobble-free connection. The bit can then be removed by pushing the clamping sleeve forward where a spring-loaded mechanism unlocks the bit and lifts it away from the magnet. Additional features include a free-spinning outer sleeve that gives you a grip-point to help stabilize the bit, and a free-spinning outer sleeve reduces surface damage if contact is made. The Rapidaptor can be used with 1/4" insert and power bits.
