Software Bundle 7.4

Snap-on Diagnostics' software bundle 7.4 includes hybrid control coverage for the Toyota Prius, beginning with the 2001 model year. Codes, data and actuator tests are supported in bundle 7.4, including functional tests for battery cooling fans, hybrid vehicle (HV) cranking request for compression testing, inspection mode 1 test for checking HV electronic control units (ECU) with the engine running in park, inspection mode 2 test for disabling the traction control, and forcible stop of inverter drive for determining if an internal leak exists in either the inverter or the HV ECU.
