MasterCool will offer its newest product, the SlimWall, in the summer of 2004. The SlimWall is the first evaporative cooler designed for garage cooling and the company says that it is versatile enough to be installed virtually anywhere cooling is needed. The SlimWall:

  • Comes equipped with unique dual 1/8 hp, 7.9 amps and120-volt motors.
  • Delivers 3,000 cubic feet per minute (cfm) of air.
  • Can effectively cool a 1,200 sq. ft. area, or roughly a 3-car garage.
  • Is economical to operate. The company states that initial tests indicate that on a hot day, under normal conditions, SlimWall uses less than $1 in electricity and water during a 12-hr. period.
  • Can lower a room's temperature by as much as 20 degrees.
  • Manufactured in a durable powder coated steel cabinet, about the size of a residential electrical breaker box.
  • Operating parts reside on home's exterior.
  • Includes a removable panel on the rear of the cabinet, allowing for easier access to a central cell that houses its motors, blower wheels, water pump, float and reservoir.
  • On each side of the central cell, two 8" thick rigid media cooling removable pad frame modules are located.
  • Inside the space to be cooled, only a 4-way adjustable vent and integrated control pad are visible.
  • Can be installed at varying heights, making it possible to hide the cooler.
