New from Mac Tools is their Mac Edge line of sockets and wrenches for attacking rounded fasteners.
- The sockets feature a patented, non-slip design that Mac says can remove fasteners which have been rounded off by as much as 70 percent. High-polish chrome molybdenum steel with duplex nickel chrome steel plating also allow the tools to generate greater torque.
- The open end wrenches can also remove fasteners that have been stripped by as much as 70 percent. A 72-tooth ratcheting system on the box end, in 12-point configuration, combined with chrome vanadium construction and a high polish chrome molybdenum design allow for greater torque, comfort, durability and the ability to turn fasteners with as little as 5 degrees of arc.
