New from Ferret Instruments is their Smart Spec Driveability CD, with vehicle repair data and diagrams for 1990 through 2001 Ford, Chrysler and GM vehicles. Ferret has placed all of this vehicle information on a single CD for added convenience, and at a price that the company says is less than a one-month subscription through other information sources. Features of the Smart Spec CD include:
- Real-world data based on field research.
- Crisper and easier-to-read diagrams, which have been re-drawn exclusively for the program.
- OBD II data that includes descriptions of what each specific trouble code means, possible remedies and a list of other codes that might be blocked.
- Quicker navigation that Ferret says will take just 3 clicks to get to vehicle-specific data.
