    ACTIA offers their new Bluetooth-capable Blue Passthru+XS diagnostic tool for accessing ECU reprogramming information. The company feels this tool can provide independent shops with the same reprogramming capabilities as dealerships, and with greater mobility and portability. The tool works in conjuction with the SAE J2534 and J2534-1 standards to access web-based OEM calibration files. The tool connects to the OBDII port and, via Bluetooth wireless technology, to a remote PC up to 60' away. Features include sequential reprogramming of multiple vehicles from one stationary PC or laptop, and the ability to reprogram most domestic and foreign vehicles. The tool can also connect to a PC or laptop via a USB cable.
