DuPont Protection Technologies (DuPont) and MCR Safety announced the launch of a cut resistant glove “Memphis Orange” with Kevlar.  MCR Safety is partnering with DuPont under the new Dare Bigger brand platform to promote its products with DuPont technology. This glove uses patented DuPont Kevlar engineered yarns allowing glove companies like MCR Safety to Dare Bigger and bring new levels of cut-resistance performance and dexterity, along with features such as high visibility, to the market.

“We are proud to partner with DuPont in an effort to provide the next generation of cut protection,” said Mitch Lewellen, CEO of MCR Safety. “This ANSI Cut Level 4 product features a high level of cut protection with a thinner and more flexible glove. This high visibility orange Kevlar provides greater visibility for a higher level of safety awareness.”

The breadth and versatility of the Kevlar technology platform helps enable customers to design products that make a difference when performance and safety are crucial.  The use of Kevlar can be found in everything from fire fighter and industrial protective clothing to vehicles, fiber optic cables, mining belts, commercial aircraft and city roads, and in many consumer products such as mobile phones, tires, and sporting apparel and equipment.

“Our customers and licensees are world-class organizations that share our passion for quality and safety, and that the proven strength, endurance and versatility of DuPont Kevlar enables them to perform bigger,” said Kathy Kowalski, global brand leader for DuPont Protection Technologies.

MCR Safety will offer free samples of this new glove to qualifying customers for a limited time. Participating customers must have a minimum of 50 employees wearing cut protection and be willing to complete a product evaluation form within 30 days. Contact MCR Safety to enroll [email protected]. The program will be effective March 16th while supplies last. Upon receipt of product evaluation form, you will receive our safety “shake” kit.  Samples may be purchased at www.mcrsafety.com/shop for those not participating in the product evaluation program or requiring additional product for evaluation.
