The Young Auto Care Network Group (YANG) and the Auto Care Association launched a video, “Best Career for Your Future,” hosted on the auto care careers website, www.autocarecareers.org. The video is a comprehensive overview of the auto care industry, highlighting the variety of career paths within its 500,000 businesses and 4.2 million jobs and features testimonials from successful young professionals in the auto care industry.
The video showcases the sophisticated auto care industry’s high-quality employees and its exciting opportunities for young job seekers in multiple sectors, including manufacturing, distribution, service and repair, retail and more. The video is among the many resources featured on the recently-launched auto care careers website, which was created as part of the association’s Education Committee Auto Care Careers initiative to educate young people about, and attract them to, careers in the auto care industry.

Additional resources on the site include a custom-built, interactive career accelerator where users can click on their preferred path to learn more about positions, advancement opportunities and career trajectories available in the auto care industry, as well as downloadable fact-sheets that detail potential job titles and the skills required for industry positions. Association members are encouraged to link to the new video and website, and use them as resources in their recruitment efforts.
