Service centers that have gone through the training and followed these procedures have seen as much as a 300-percent increase in vital fluid sales in the first 90 days, according to the company.

Fluid Rx Diagnostics by Magna-Guard, Inc. has developed a “Blueprint-for-Success” training program created for service centers, fixed ops and repair facilities. The training is designed to maximize and ensure the success of installing “Instant Lubricant Diagnostics” into multipoint inspection and service recommendations. This multi-level training program can accommodate any size service center from large O.E. affiliated dealerships and national chains, to regional or local facilities. The courses demonstrate  to each employee their roll in how to get customers to say "Yes" to needed fluid services.

“Showing the true condition of a vehicle’s vital fluids and making proper service recommendations is important to any service facility,” said Magna Guard’s President, Ron McElroy.  “Understanding the most effective way to execute the testing process and present the results to consumers so they may make important maintenance decisions is just as vital,” he added.

The new Fluid Rx Diagnostics training program, in association with Fluid-Science, was developed after working with key service managers to determine the best way to install and implement the use of the fluid diagnostics tools. “We carefully analyzed the feedback and data from selected dealership service centers and repair chains. Then, we determined what was working and where disconnects took place. From this we carefully crafted a set of procedures that have proven to highlight the integrity of the Fluid Rx Diagnostics Vital Fluid Analysis program,” McElroy concluded. This includes specific segments for: Service Advisor introduction, Technician training, Customer presentation procedure, and ROI tracking.

There are two tiers of training available. The basic level consists of an on-line training session with on-going access to all Fluid Rx Diagnostics and Fluid-Science training videos. The premium tier program provides an extensive, two-day in-house training for service managers, advisors and technicians as well as on-going access to all Fluid-Science training videos.

Service centers that have gone through the training and followed these procedures have seen as much as a 300-percent increase in vital fluid sales in the first 90 days, according to the company. These new training options accelerate the program and provide the potential for a rapid return on investment.
