Augmented Reality Diagnostics provides information visually and just-in-time, using advanced machine vision techniques to identify and overlay information directly onto the vehicle system or component that is currently being serviced. This includes service procedures such as parts removal and installation, parts breakdowns, hardware specifications, torque requirements and more.
Augmented Reality Diagnostics provides a highly intuitive user interface, designed to keep the technician's hands available to do the job efficiently. Diagnostic and technical information is provided via mobile devices such as tablets or safety glasses, as needed. This helps to eliminate or minimize distraction and unnecessary technician movement, such as having to step away from the vehicle to reference pertinent service information.
