Florida Pneumatic acquires AIRCAT and NITROCAT brands with Exhaust Technologies merger

Florida Pneumatic Mfg Corp. has announced the merger of Exhaust Technologies Inc. to its portfolio of businesses effective July 1.

Florida Pneumatic Mfg Corp. (FPMC) has announced the merger of Exhaust Technologies Inc. to its portfolio of businesses effective July 1.

FPMC has produced pneumatic tools for automotive and industrial markets since 1964.  The merger includes Exhaust Technologies’ brands AIRCAT and NITROCAT and its break through patented SILENCE TECHNOLOGY.

 The merged company plans to maintain its commitment to product innovation, high service levels, and to develop and expand the AIRCAT and NITROCAT brands.

The companies new “Automotive Business Unit” will develop, market and supply AIRCAT, NITROCAT and Florida Pneumatic brand products and will operate from Florida Pneumatic Mfg Corp HQ & Distribution Center, located in Jupiter, Fla.

For AIRCAT and Florida Pneumatic customers, the merged company will provide a wider selection of products; while delivering cost effective sourcing solutions for its distribution partners.

FPMC also produces the Universal Air Tool brand for the industrial market. The addition of the AIRCAT and NITROCAT brands underlines the corporation’s long term commitment to its core air tool business.
