IC Bus announced the winners of its annual Pursuit of Excellence dealership award. Rush Bus Centers of Ohio, two-time winner Leonard Bus Sales, Inc. of New York, Midwest Transit Equipment of Illinois, Summit Bus of New Mexico, Truck Sales and Service, Inc. of Ohio, and Western Canada IC Bus have been recognized for their efforts to improve sales and customer satisfaction. Rush Bus Centers of Ohio has also been named the 2013 Dealer of the Year.
"Chosen among all IC Bus dealerships across North America, these six winners have gone above and beyond to find success," said John McKinney, president, IC Bus. "In addition to providing unmatched customer support, these dealers have demonstrated a promise to ensuring the success of their customers and their local communities."
The awards are based on dealer performance in several key areas in 2013, including growing market share and exceeding annual sales plans. In addition, dealers were required to meet a customer satisfaction index threshold as well as meet community service requirements in order to be eligible to receive recognition.
