Ervin Equipment rolled out a new branded look, brand promise, and the four core areas of focus behind its expanding company brand at the Technology & Maintenance Council’s 2014 Annual Meeting & Transportation Technology Exhibition in Nashville.

Recognized by Inc. Magazine as one of the fastest growing private companies in America, Ervin has expanded over three decades to become the nation’s largest trailing equipment dealer. Leveraging the experience gained through more than 30 years working in the trailing industry, in 2013, the company launched initiatives to expand its presence across the powered equipment and financing side of the transportation industry, becoming an aggressive buyer and seller of powered equipment as well as trailing equipment and offering a variety of financing and lease options to customers.

Geared toward service and the development of one-stop-solutions for small to medium-large fleets (50 to 500 vehicles), Ervin USA specializes in powered equipment, trailing equipment, asset management support, logistics and financing. Staffed by transportation veterans, Ervin is committed to fast service and a customized approach – no matter the application, equipment need or fleet size. The company is also committed to delivering choice through road ready inventories and a selection of new or used power or trailing equipment. To complement the sale or lease of equipment, Ervin offers customers trading options and ready access to capital through a variety of lease or loan programs designed to support their specific fleet businesses and growth.

Ervin’s new brand promise – "Run with the Ervin Edge" – is based on an overarching focus to give customers a competitive advantage. As an example, Ervin is investing in a ready inventory of fleet-spec’d, pre-assembled powered gliders that provide customers with lower acquisition costs, lower operating costs and strong residual value. These gliders come with pre-EGR ‘98 Detroit Diesel Reliabilt engines and in 2014 Freightliner Columbia or Coronado and Western Star cab styles (complete with warranty and maintenance provided at any Freightliner or Detroit Diesel authorized repair facility). These Ervin gliders deliver an estimated $75,000 average life cycle savings for a diesel-only glider and an estimated $153,700 average life cycle savings for a dual fuel glider with an LNG or CNG system.

"We are dedicated to our customers. We know fleets, particularly small and medium-large fleets, are facing lack of access to capital, high replacement truck pricing, DOT/CSA compliance, reliability and technology changes as just a few of their challenges," said Greg Ervin, CEO and founder of Ervin USA. "Our goal is to provide a number of one-stop-shop solutions from power to trailing equipment and from trade-ins to full service leases or sales that will meet their needs to grow and expand their businesses. This will give our customers a true and measurable competitive edge - and what we’re calling the Ervin Edge."
