Ingersoll Rand, a provider of air compressors, tools, fluid management and material handling equipment, received a 2013 SEMA Editor’s Choice Award from Popular Mechanics for the IQV12 Series cordless tools, which debuted at this year’s Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) trade show. Ingersoll Rand previously won the award at the 2011 SEMA Show for the W7150 1/2″ 20V cordless Impactool.
The Popular Mechanics automotive editors reviewed more than 1,500 new products at the 2013 SEMA Show to determine the best new car technology products for automotive enthusiasts. The IQV12 Series cordless tools were one of the top 15 products, and the only power tools to receive this recognition.

The IQV12 Series cordless tools offer versatile performance and cordless convenience so technicians can access difficult spaces faster and easier. The series includes three Impactools, two ratchets, a drill/driver, a screwdriver and an LED task light — all powered by a 2.0 Ah 12-volt lithium-ion battery. Every tool in the line features a lightweight, ergonomic design to minimize operator fatigue.
