The Northwood University Automotive Aftermarket Management Education Award, which recognizes distinct individuals who have shown substantial dedication to the educational process and the automotive aftermarket field over a number of years, will be awarded to Bassett at an awards luncheon during AAPEX, November 5th.

Bassett previously served on the board of the Mississippi Automotive Wholesalers Association and is currently a foundation board member of the North American Council of Automotive Teachers (NACAT).
“Gates is dedicated to promoting training and education and overall excellence within the automotive aftermarket industry,” said Dave Miller, Gates vice president of marketing, automotive. “All of our team members seek to make a positive impact on both the industry and our customers.
