One of the most important aspects of fleet management is having a viable vehicle replacement strategy. It's not enough to simply know which vehicles are best for your fleet today; you need to know which vehicles will bring the best return for you down the road when it's time to replace them. NAFA Fleet Management Association is proud to present Replacement Spotlight as a value-added benefit for members of NAFA. Produced by Utilimarc, this report offers valuable advice on successful remarketing practices.

Replacement Spotlight focuses on vehicle replacement and the variables that affect a company's vehicle replacement strategy. The report details a case study developed using Utilimarc's Vehicle Replacement Model and includes data from two clients running light-duty pickup trucks. Though both companies run comparable vehicles, key differences in utilization and labor rates yield vehicle replacement schedules that are unique to each company.

This is the latest in a series of complimentary reports provided by Utilimarc exclusively to NAFA Members and NAFA Affiliates as part of a special agreement between the two organizations.

"Benchmarking is an important part of fleet management," explained NAFA's executive director Phillip E. Russo, CAE. "The ability to know how your colleagues – and especially your competition – manage their fleets can offer valuable ideas and concepts that you may wish to incorporate into your own fleet. Utilimarc's in-depth benchmarking databases and services meet all of the criteria and guidelines set by NAFA. Their information is invaluable, and provides excellent insights into the industry. We are proud to offer these reports to our membership."
