June 24, 2013
AAPEX 2013 set for Nov. 5 through Nov. 7 at Sands Expo in Las Vegas.

Entries are now being accepted for the Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX) Product and New Packaging Showcases, a popular AAPEX feature for the more than 39,500 targeted buyers who attend the event. The 2013 AAPEX is set for Tuesday, Nov. 5 through Thursday, Nov. 7, at the Sands Expo Center in Las Vegas, Nev.

Product Showcase entries are due Monday, July 29, to be included in the official AAPEX Product Extra, a publication that reaches buyers two weeks before AAPEX. Pre-registered AAPEX buyers will select this year’s Product Showcase winners by voting on their favorite entries in an electronic version of the AAPEX Product Extra.

Products can be submitted in 13 categories: accessories, automotive lighting, business tools, chemicals, lubricants and filters, electrical, general merchandise, hard parts, innovation, mobile electronics, paint, body and equipment, safety, tires and wheels, and tool and equipment. Entries received after July 29 will be accepted, but will only be included in the onsite product showcase.

To submit a product showcase entry, exhibitors should go to the exhibitor login section of the AAPEX website, www.aapexshow.com, enter their login information and click on the product showcase icon on their dashboard. For questions, contact Chris Kalousek, [email protected] or (708) 226-1300, ext. 14.

New packaging showcase entries are due Friday, Aug. 30. This showcase reflects the highest standards in packaging design and is where buyers turn for the latest innovative, protective or “green” packaging. Entries may be submitted in six categories: economics, environmental impact, innovation, marketing, performance, and protection. New packaging showcase entry forms may be downloaded from the AAPEX website, www.aapexshow.com/Showcases. For questions, contact Jacki Canter, [email protected] or (708) 226-1300, ext. 22.
