Car Care Council Women's Board announces scholarship winners

Women's board announces record $15,000 in scholarships.

 The Car Care Council Women’s Board announced the recipients of its 2013-2014 scholarships for high school and secondary students in the automotive aftermarket. This year, the women’s board gave a record $15,000 in scholarships. Recipients of scholarships include: 

High school:

  • $3,000 -- Sierra Salmen, Carnegie, Pa.
  • $1,500 -- Kelsey Prosser, Rangely, Colo.
  • $1,000 -- Shardae Hilliard, Harwich, Mass.

Secondary school:

  • $5,000 and an AAPEX trip -- Nicole Kelsey, Tucson, Ariz.
  • $2,500 -- Alicia Laeder, Midland, Mich.
  • $2,000 -- Cori Lukens, Port Angeles, Wash.
