Fontaine Fifth Wheel hires Todd Kuipers as key account/marketing manager

Fontaine Fifth Wheel has hired Todd Kuipers to serve as both its key account manager for the Atlantic Coast region and as marketing manager. 

In his new role, Kuipers is responsible for maintaining relationships with significant fleet and dealer customers in the region while also leading the fifth wheel manufacturer's North American marketing efforts. 

Kuipers has extensive sales and marketing management experience in the heavy-duty trucking industry. He spent the last seven years as a regional manager at engine cooling component manufacturer Horton. His large territory included a diverse customer base of aftermarket distributors, OE dealers, OEMs and national fleets. As Southeast regional manager in 2010, Kuipers oversaw a 23.9 percent sales growth and was named regional manager of the year. Prior to his time at Horton, he spent nine years at Sloan Transportation Products working his way up from marketing analyst to Northeast regional sales manager.

"His customer relationships and in-depth understanding of our industry are strong assets in helping spread the word about Fontaine Fifth Wheel products and services." 

Kuipers attended Grand Valley State University and earned a bachelor's degree in advertising with a minor in public relations. He has been a member of the American Trucking Associations' Technology & Maintenance Council for more than 10 years. Kuipers is based in Leesville, S.C.
