Tenneco launches new website for Monroe commercial vehicle product line

March 7, 2013
New site provides easy catalog lookup, convenient part interchange tool, extensive technical info and more to support commercial vehicle business partners.

Tenneco has announced the launch of a new virtual home for its Monroe commercial vehicle ride control products at http://www.MonroeHeavyDuty.com. The new site – available in English, French and Spanish – includes business-enhancing resources like easy, convenient catalog look-up throughout the site and an extensive library of technical resources.

"Monroe commercial vehicle is committed to providing the highest-quality heavy duty shock absorbers to owners of hard-working trucks, school buses, coaches, recreational vehicles and more," said Carri Irby, brand manager, Tenneco. "This site was built with the commercial vehicle professional in mind, and we're sure it will become a vital resource for all of your ride control jobs."

The website's aesthetic design and optimized navigation – including a fixed catalog location that allows users constant access to PDFs of catalog pages by product category plus a convenient "search engine-like" search feature – creates a streamlined user experience. The catalog also will be continuously updated with the additional coverage expected during 2013.

The product offering is now represented in an enhanced "Products" section where the user can learn the latest information about the popular commercial vehicle product line. Users also can utilize the guide to interchanging OE or competitor parts through the "Interchange" module, making it easy to determine which Monroe parts will fit any heavy duty vehicle.

The "Dealer Locator" makes finding local authorized Monroe dealers easy. When the user enters a city or zip code, the Dealer Locator displays a list of nearby locations and a complete map, including store hours, websites and contact information when available.

Monroe commercial vehicle products – available for Class 3 through 8 vehicles – include application-engineered Monroe Gas-Magnum truck, Gas-Magnum 60, Gas-Magnum 65, Magnum 70, Gas-Magnum cab, Monroe Severe Service and Gas-Magnum RV shock absorbers. The product line also includes Steering Stabilizers, Gas-Magnum Spring-Over Steering Stabilizers, Trailer Retrofit Kits and Strut-Mate boot kits.
