J.B. Hunt selects PeopleNet software

PeopleNet, a leading provider of innovative and integrated onboard computing and mobile communications systems for effective fleet management, today announced that J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc. has chosen PeopleNet for their fleet-wide EOBR and onboard computing needs. Recognizing how advanced technology could support the company's commitment to safety and customer service, the company made its decision after an extensive evaluation of PeopleNet products and service. According to J.B. Hunt COO Craig Harper, "PeopleNet demonstrated a strong understanding of our business. Not only is the company's product roadmap closely aligned with our safety and service needs, but their responsiveness and flexibility are outstanding."

PeopleNet BLU.2 onboard computers have been installed in more than 2,300 J.B. Hunt trucks to date. All new trucks purchased by J.B. Hunt are fully equipped for their PeopleNet installation through factory pre-wiring and are activated prior to deployment to the vast J.B. Hunt network of services.
