Mitchell 1 awards 2012 SuperTech champion

Mitchell 1, a Snap-on company, awarded Christopher Barnett of Ryder Systems, the Grand Champion of TMC's SuperTech 2012-National Technician Skills Competition, a subscription that will allow him to access Mitchell 1's online service information for a full year.  Mitchell 1's Tractor-Trailer.net, Medium-Truck.net and Repair-Connect.net together have all the information required to diagnose and correctly repair all makes of Class 4-8 vehicles.

Dan Kincaid, Mitchell 1 Senior Technical Editor, who made the award to Barnett, commented "Since this is a competition that measures a technician's skills, we are happy to make this valuable contribution to Christopher as another tool to enhance his overall skills.  We believe this Mitchell 1 subscription will continue to pay dividends throughout the coming year for both Christopher and his company."

Mitchell 1 has been a sponsor of the SuperTech national competitions since their inception seven years ago and each year Mitchell 1 has run the Service Information skills station testing competitors on their ability to use computers and web-based programs to diagnose and fix vehicles properly.  In addition to their involvement at the national level, Mitchell 1 also supports and participates in many state technician skills competitions as well.
