"The facility serves the needs of Penske's own truck fleet and contract customers, as well as commercial truck fleets," stated James Svaasand, General Manager of Business Ventures for Penske Truck Leasing.

The 15,500-square-foot building is housed on 5.2 acres and utilizes light fixtures that reduce energy use by 50 percent.

The structure contains a high-efficiency paint spray booth that greatly filters emissions. This booth employs smart technology that minimizes energy and fuel consumption, housing a high-tech air filtration system.

"Prior to opening this Annapolis Junction collision repair center, Penske vehicles, and our customer's vehicles, were being serviced from our repair centers in Pennsylvania and North Carolina," said Jack Gallagher, Senior Vice President – Northeast Region, Penske Truck Leasing. "Now, we are in the perfect position to attain new business in the Baltimore and Washington, D.C., areas."

The company's 17th North American collision repair center is located at 8820 Corridor Road. It is open Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, please call (301) 490-9150.
