Alliance Truck Parts creates Fantasy Racing league

Feb. 17, 2012
Fans have a chance to win $100,000 and prizes during every Nationwide Series race.

Alliance Truck Parts has announced the creation of the Alliance Truck Parts Fantasy Racing Leaguein celebration of the upcoming 2012 NASCAR Nationwide Series and its sponsorship of the No. 12 Dodge Challenger driven by Sam Hornish Jr. The contest is a weekly challenge for fans to predict the top ten finishers in that week's Nationwide Series race.

"This contest offers Alliance Truck Parts another great way to extend the excitement of NASCAR to our customers and racing fans," said Daniel Haggerty, director of parts and service marketing for Daimler Trucks North America. "Participating in a fantasy league links one much more closely to the sport, and throughout the season, we will be able to create a much closer brand affiliation with our customers. Although we are in year two, this campaign is still all about awareness."

The contest is being promoted throughout North America in truck dealerships, truck service locations as well as online and at each stop of the Alliance Truck Parts Pit Stop Tour. The Red Eye Radio Network will also promote the contest throughout the Nationwide Series racing season.

Race fans can register anytime during the season at allianceracingleague.com beginning February 1, 2012. Contestants can then submit their prediction of the top ten finishers for any given week's Nationwide Series race. Participants receive points awarded based upon their prediction results:

10 points – for each driver predicted in the correct finishing position
3 points – for each driver predicted who finishes anywhere among the top ten

If any contestant scores a perfect ten out of ten prediction during any week of the entire season, they instantly win $100,000 in cash. Additional prizes will be awarded to the weekly points winner, and the season long champion. Registration will remain open through all 33 NASCAR Nationwide Series races, ending on November 17, 2012.

Official rules and registration can be found online at allianceracingleague.com.
