Tramec LLC announces joint venture with HDSS

Company partnering with Heavy Duty Suspension Suppliers Corp. to create a stand-alone business and subsidary.

Gary Sullo, Chairman of Tramec HDSS, LLC announced Tramec's joint venture with Heavy Duty Suspension Suppliers Corp. (HDSS), Grupo Suspension in Mexico. The Joint Venture, which is named Tramec HDSS, LLC, headquartered in Grapevine, Texas, is a stand-alone business and a subsidiary of Tramec, LLC, located in Iola, Kansas. 

Tramec HDSS, LLC will provide a full line of heavy duty suspension components, which will be warehoused and distributed out of the Grapevine, Texas facility, to the commercial vehicle market inthe United States and Canada.  Mr. Sullo commented, "This joint venture provides the addition of suspension components to Tramec's existing air, electrical, brake and fastener product lines. Existing and new customers will have an enhanced and expanded product line backed by Tramec's nearly 40 years of industry experience, ingenuity and expertise." 

HDSS is comprised of four ISO-9001 certified suspension component manufacturers located in Mexico: JM Tor Par S.A. de C.V. – hot forged suspension nuts and bolts; Pratsa S.A. de C.V. – U-bolts and spring center bolts; Partes Para Bombas S.A. de C.V. (PARBO) – polyurethane and rubber suspension products; and Partes Herramientas y Maquinados S.A. de C.V. (PHM) – cast and machined suspension components.  Each of these companies has 35+ years experience in the design and manufacturing of suspension components.  "The HDSS team is very positive about the joint venture with Tramec," said Jose Janeiro, Vice President of Heavy Duty Suspension Suppliers Corp. Tramec LLC services the heavy duty tractor and trailer OEM and aftermarket businesses, and the industrial market.  Tramec's full line of highly engineered products includes cold-formed lock nuts and specialty bolts, automatic brake adjusters, air brake and electrical components, assemblies, and related accessories. Mark A.
