RACO Wireless, a key machine-to-machine (M2M) partner and enabler powered by T-Mobile, and Teletrac Inc., a leading provider of advanced fleet management solutions, today announced a partnership whereby, RACO Wireless will support M2M connectivity and SIM management for Teletrac’s award-winning Fleet Director GPS and Vehicle Tracking solutions. Teletrac is one of America’s largest telematics solution providers, with more than 23 years of experience helping managers locate and track fleet vehicles to more efficiently manage operations, reduce costs, improve driver productivity and fleet safety.

Teletrac has a long history of successfully partnering with technology leader T-Mobile, a premier provider of wireless services, and collaborating with the RACO Wireless team when they were part of T-Mobile’s M2M business. Teletrac will be working with that same M2M team as Teletrac migrates its M2M support to RACO Wireless, which is the T-Mobile® Preferred M2M Partner.

“We continually strive to provide exceptional reliability to our customers, and the ability of Fleet Director to deliver driver, safety and vehicle information to customers without interruption is critical,” stated Drew Hamilton, executive vice president, Teletrac. “We worked with John Horn and his team for more than eight years when they served at T-Mobile, and we look forward to leveraging their expertise as we work with them again in their new positions at RACO Wireless.”

“We’re thrilled to once again work with the dedicated and talented Teletrac team, many of which are recognized as pioneers in the telematics industry,” said John Horn, president of RACO Wireless. “As the world of fleet management evolves and becomes even more competitive, we will help Teletrac continue to innovate in the telematics marketplace with more speed and flexibility than ever before.”
