Hello and welcome back to Market Moves Electric Vehicles, Endeavor Business Media's monthly look at everything EVs. Last month, the Treasury Department released updated sourcing requirements for electric vehicles to qualify for up $7,500 in tax credits. While this spelled good news for some automakers, others fell out of favor, and our top story has the latest list. Our other stories examine the increased resistance to EVs as they become increasingly unaffordable, but more importantly, the lack of charging infrastructure (even when it’s there, it’s not), and the history of battery recycling. As more fleets turn from ICE, we also look at the road to electrifying the final mile and how law enforcement could benefit.
