iATN webcast at VISION explores tech training, recruiting

Educators mull ways to strengthen technician education and recruiting students.

The International Automotive Technicians Network (iATN) held an interactive educator "think tank" webcast during the VISION Hi Tech Training & Expo in Overland Park, Kan. Moderated by Rick Escalambre, an automotive instructor at Skyline College in San Bruno, Calif. Panelists included educators Jeff Curtis, Paul Danner, Tim Dwyer, Bill Leib and Doug Mueller.

The panel addressed issues such as how to recruit students to pursue automotive technology.
