After a redesign for the new model year, the 2014 Chevy Silverado has been named Fleet Truck of the Year by both Automotive magazine and Business Fleet magazine.
The Silverado was chosen by a group of qualified fleet managers that represent a variety of industries and fleet sizes.
"The Truck of the Year award is voted on every year by fleet managers, making this a real honor for vehicle manufacturers that serve this professional segment," said Sherb Brown, vice president and group publisher for Bobit Business Media's FleetGroup, in a press release.
Bill Jacobs Joliet recognizes the excellence of the Chevy Silverado for work-related purposes and continues to promote the GM Business Choice Incentive Program at its dealership. With Upfit Cash Allowances and Brand Maintenance, northern Illinois fleet managers can tailor the Fleet Truck of the Year to their specific business needs.
The 2014 Chevy Silverado is capable of towing up to 7,600 lbs with its V-6 configuration and offers an available payload of more than 2,000 lbs. Perhaps one of the things fleet managers appreciate most about the 2014 Chevy Silverado is its balance between power and efficiency. As the cost of gas piles up on small business owners, efficient fleet trucks can make for significant long-term savings.
