FTC to launch investigation over TrueCar opposition

The car shopping assistance website TrueCar may have been the target of anti-competitive acts by local vehicle dealerships.

The Federal Trade Commission has launched an investigation of dealers who may have collaborated by not utilizing consumer car shopping assistance website TrueCar, according to Automotive News.

The investigation will focus on 2011 and 2012 vehicle price competition issues.
