European carmakers, GM and Bosch to offer compressed air hybrid
'Hybrid Air' reportedly lighter than gasoline and battery hybrid.
PSA/Peugeot-Citroen plans to launch hybrid cars partially powered by compressed air by 2016 while General Motors will likely use the technology as part of its alliance agreement with PSA, according to Automotive News.
