Great Dane is rolling out emergency road service (ERS) exclusively for members of its AdvantEDGE national account parts and service program.
Following the successful launch of its AdvantEDGE national account parts and service program in September 2010, Great Dane is rolling out emergency road service (ERS) exclusively for its AdvantEDGE customers.
Great Dane, a manufacturer of dry van, refrigerated and platform trailers, has long been regarded as the industry leader in technology, innovation and quality.
Great Dane added 24-hour emergency support to its unique lineup of AdvantEDGE benefits in response to needs expressed by current plan members.
“We had a tremendous reaction to the launch of our AdvantEDGE program, which provides customers with cost-effective, streamlined access to parts and service at more than 100 participating Great Dane distributors throughout North America,” says Dave Durand, vice president aftermarket parts.
Along with nationwide service and parts availability, the AdvantEDGE program offers preferential service and parts, not-to-exceed parts pricing, warrantable repairs, consolidated invoicing and total purchase control.
“The availability of emergency road service is a crucial part of the safety and security of both personnel and freight for our customers,” he says. “Now, AdvantEDGE members can rest assured knowing we are prepared to deploy assistance around the clock.”
ERS is available 24-hours a day, seven days a week in the United States, Canada and Mexico through Great Dane’s mobile network. Services include towing, trailer and tractor repair, maintenance on reefer units and tires, and drop-lot facilities.
Competitive labor rates and guaranteed up-front estimates will be offered.
The plan’s signature parts price protection is available to AdvantEDGE members at more than 20,000 certified mobile providers.
The ERS is being handled for Great Dane by InterStar North America, a provider of maintenance and repair solutions for the commercial trucking industry.
