To provide cold weather protection for diesel engines

Gold Eagle, an industry pioneer of aftermarket fluids and additives and maker of STA-BIL, HEET and and START YOUR ENGINES has announced the launch of HEET Diesel Winter Treatmen, a new product designed to provide protection for diesel engines during cold weather.

America's No. 1 selling gas-line antifreeze and water remover, HEET's new diesel winter treatment is designed specifically for diesel engines to prevent cold weather fuel gelling; clean and protect the entire fuel system; and is enhanced with cetane booster for faster starts and improved fuel economy.

"After years of providing customers with a reliable, powerful cold weather treatment for gasoline-powered engines, we're pleased to lend this expertise and experience to ensure diesel engines also perform their best in cold weather with the introduction of HEET Diesel Winter Treatment," said Marc Blackman, CEO for Gold Eagle.

"Our customers rely on Gold Eagle for top-quality products that keep their engines running at their best, and we continue to seek opportunities to innovate in new ways to meet their needs."

Offering cold weather security, the HEET Diesel Winter Treatment solution treats up to 35 gallons of fuel and is designed to prevent fuel gelling down to -40 degrees Fahrenheit.  It reduces the cold filter plugging point by up to 36 degrees Fahrenheit.

During the winter, Gold Eagle recommends customers use this fuel additive during every fill to protect fuel systems and clean their fuel injectors.

For the 2011/12 winter season, HEET Diesel Winter Treatment will be available for sale at Wal-Mart and VIP Parts, Tires and Service stores nationwide.

HEET was created in 1941 and over the past 60 years continues to be the No. 1 gas-line selling antifreeze and water remover, Blackman said. In addition, Iso-Heet is the No. 1 selling premium fuel-line antifreeze, water remover and injector cleaner, absorbing five times more water than regular gas-line antifreeze.
