As budget constraints and operational costs continue, work truck fleets are keeping their vehicles for increasingly longer periods.

The following chart, based on the latest data from the NTEA, the Association for the Work Truck Industry, shows the average age of work truck vehicles for the past few years.

2007            10.4 years               12.1 years

2008            10.7                        12.5

2009            11.3                        13.1

2010            11.7                        13.4
