Tridako Energy Systems has new APU
More compact unit
Tridako Energy Systems, which designs and manufacturers the PowerCube APU, has released its new HC5128 PowerCube auxiliary power unit.
At 5 inches narrower than its HC5100 model, less frame rail space is required for installation. The unique radiator/condenser design means no third piece is mounted on the back of the cab.
The HC5128 provides 24,000 BTU for air conditioning and 30,000 BTU for heating. Desired air temperatures are reached quickly with the APU’s 600 cfm blower.
Power is provided by a C0.5 Li CAT 2-cylinder engine. At 6,000 watts, the Markon generator also delivers electric power for all hotel loads.
The unit’s chassis construction is a 1-1/2-inch steel tube frame, mounted directly to the truck frame rail.
PowerCube APU’s are an independent system, isolated from a truck’s systems.
Reduce your fuel consumption, 0.165 GPH heat load, and reduce your emissions to comply with anti-idle laws.
