Bendix Brakes now supported by sales and service team

Effective as of June 1.

Customers seeking sales, service, or technical support for Bendix brand foundation brakes and wheel-end solutions from Bendix Spicer Foundation Brake (BSFB) will now receive information exclusively through their Bendix account managers, Bendix SWAT team members, www.foundationbrakes.com, and the Bendix Tech Team members who offer service support via 1-800-AIR-BRAKE.

Through an agreement in place since 2004, the Roadranger marketing organization had been a part of the overall team providing sales and support across the North American marketplace for Bendix wheel-end solutions, including air disc and foundation drum brakes. The support agreement ended on May 31, 2011. Effective June 1, 2011, Bendix assumed full support for its foundation brake sales and service program.

Bendix foundation brake customers will continue to have 24/7/365 access to the full range of technical documentation at www.foundationbrakes.com. And, if needed, support and troubleshooting is just a phone call away with the opportunity to talk with one of the seasoned veterans who staff the Bendix Tech Team call-in line at 1-800-AIR-BRAKE.

From 2009 to 2010, Bendix Spicer Foundation Brake has experienced a nearly 120 percent boost in demand for its Bendix ADB22X air disc brakes, with sustained significant increases also expected in 2011. BSFB is opening a new state-of-the-art production line at its Bowling Green, Ky., manufacturing plant this summer to significantly bolster current capacity for its North American operations.

Bendix foundation drum brakes, disc brakes, automatic slack adjusters, and combination spring brakes are produced and made available by Bendix Spicer Foundation Brake LLC under the Bendix brand name. Bendix Spicer Foundation Brake is a joint venture between Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC and Dana Commercial Vehicle Products, LLC. Since its inception in 2004, Bendix Spicer Foundation Brake has remained focused on its efforts to advance its braking technology. The full lineup of Bendix foundation brake products is already commercially available and in production today at the company’s state-of-the-art wheel-end manufacturing facility in Bowling Green, Ky.
