Sept. 9, 2022
Ford is recalling certain 2017-2020 F-Super Duty F-250, F-350, F-450, and 2017-2020 Lincoln Continental vehicles equipped with the 360-degree camera system due to cloudy camera lens.

Ford is recalling certain 2017-2020 F-Super Duty F-250, F-350, F-450, and 2017-2020 Lincoln Continental vehicles equipped with the 360-degree camera system.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), the vehicles are being recalled due to potential degradation of the rearview camera's anti-reflective lens coating which can lead to a foggy or cloudy image. Lack of a clear image reduces the driver's visibility of what is behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

To remedy the situation, dealers are to replace the rearview camera at no charge.

Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed out September 12, 2022. Owners may contact Ford's customer service by calling 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 22S51.

To check to see if your vehicle has an open recall, visit NHTSA's website and enter the vehicle's 17-digit vehicle identification number.
