Polyvance has reduced the price of two of its paid online training courses, according to a press release.
The PR-03 Headlight Repair Course, which covers the use of the nitrogen plastic welding system in the repair of broken headlight tabs, is now offered at $29. The course helps students determine when damage is unrepairable, identify types of plastic, and repair different types of broken tabs.
Students who complete the one-hour course will be eligible to earn one I-CAR annual training credit at no additional cost.
The price for the EPR-01 Estimating Plastic Repair Course has been changed to $49. This course is aimed at estimators and preparing them for assessing damage to plastic. The course begins with a brief overview of the timeline of plastics, followed by learning to identify different types of plastic, as well as the three main types of plastic repair techniques utilized in the industry.
The course is divided into four modules, which altogether take around two hours to complete. Those who complete this course are eligible for two I-CAR annual training credits.
