PureForge, the leader in the development of innovative brake solutions, announced selection of Walter E. Frankiewicz as CEO. Mr. Frankiewicz brings more than 30 years of executive leadership, engineering, operations, finance and sales expertise in the automotive braking industry to his new role at PureForge, where he will lead the effort to take the company’s innovative and award-winning brake solutions further into the automotive and additional transportation markets.

Bill Botts, interim CEO and board member, PureForge said, “The PureForge Atomic-Forged brake technology is an industry game-changer with unlimited potential. We conducted an extensive search to find the right individual who truly understood the science as well as the industry. We are fortunate to have found this unique combination in Mr. Frankiewicz and look forward to working with him and reaping the many benefits of his experience, expertise and leadership as we take PureForge to an expanded position in the automotive and adjacent markets.”

Mr. Frankiewicz holds a BSEE from The Ohio State University. He has held leadership positions at AlliedSignal Automotive (formerly Bendix Automotive), Meritor Automotive (formerly Rockwell Automotive), Bentler AutomobilTechnik where he served as president and CEO, North American Operations, Alcoa, Inc. where he served as president, Alcoa Electrical and Electronics Solutions, Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems, where he served as president, Bendix Spicer Foundation Brake LLC and most recently as a founding partner of ProfinityPartners, a discrete executive consulting and partnership company very focused on a select automotive/commercial vehicle client base with key technical and business development issues.

“I recognize the considerable potential the Atomic-Forged technology holds for the automotive industry and beyond,” said Mr. Frankiewicz. “Brake rotors that do not wear represent a paradigm shift in current brake technology – a technology that has always experienced wear issues and ultimately led to higher operating costs. PureForge brakes set new standards in performance, safety, environmental impact and affordability. These unique brake rotors represent a ‘long-life’ alternative and increase the safety and long-term value of the vehicle. I look forward to the challenge of leading PureForge to its rightful place in the global automotive market.”
