German company may buy Fisker Automotive

The electric carmaker hasn't produced a vehicle in over a year, but has yet to declare bankruptcy.

Purchase of Fisker Automotive, the electric carmaker and recipient of a loan from the Department of Energy, has been pursued by German company Fritz Nol, in the amount of a reported $25 million, according to Reuters. 

Fritz Nol would plan to continue production on the carmakers Karma model, along with other vehicle models.
