IMR Inc., the industry’s leading full-service automotive market research firm has recently hired Barlo Hardin as senior research analyst.

Hardin brings significant experience in category management to his new role, previously serving as a category manager for an aftermarket manufacturer’s representative company for the last six years.

Hardin’s growth-focused approach has helped some of the aftermarket’s largest retailers increase business by analyzing do-it-yourself and do-it-for-me trends, private label growth and inventory trends. He also played a major role in reporting retail-specific sales against national trends in his previous position, working with some of the largest parts manufacturers, retailers and warehouse distributors in the world.

“We are very excited to welcome Barlo to the IMR Inc. team,” said CEO and president Bill Thompson. “He has a unique skill set from working on both the retailer and manufacturer sides of the aftermarket, and his perspective will be a great asset to our company and customers.”

Hardin is a graduate of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and currently resides in Tennessee.
