Handler

May 11, 2015

The Handler works by placing the screwdriver horizontally in a vise. The Handler is then adjusted to the desired size and placed on top of the screwdriver, while the Handler jaws rest between the screwdriver and the vise.  Using a 3/4" socket and impact gun, technicians can use the gun to turn the shaft until the screwdriver handle is pushed off. The Handler has a press fit bearing for easy shaft turning. A 5/8" to 8-1/2" chromoly shaft is used to move the U-jaws along a guided rail. The U-jaw quickly and easily removes the handle from the shaft with no pry bars needed, according to the company.
