    The Spectra Products Hub Alert heat sensing label is an inexpensive product alerting maintenance staff to overheating wheel-ends. The Hub Alert label has a hermetically sealed heat sensor that turns black at 250 degrees F, indicating the need for a detailed inspection of the wheel end. The high-tech label adhesive keeps Hub Alert on plastic, aluminum and steel surfaces in extreme cold and hot temperatures and resists high-pressure water spraying. Hub Alert is preventative medicine for overheating brakes, bearings and related issues. Hub Alert provides an alert to the second most common cause of wheel separation, bearing failure.
