Vipal in North America

Boasting a global presence, Vipal recently redirected one of its three production plants in Brazil to focus purely on export productions. Furthermore, in order to meet growing export demands, in 2013 it inaugurated its third Distribution Center in the United States. Located in Los Angeles, California, the Center has a storage capacity of 1,500 pallet positions, thereby covering the entire North American West Coast, in addition to certain central states and the West and Central regions of Canada. Still within the US, the world’s largest tire retread market, the company also has a branch office.

In Mexico, Vipal raised its flag in 2004. It counts with a Distribution Center and Branch Office, in addition to a permanent regional team and a 14-member strong authorized network.

Vipal is responsible for supplying around 90 countries throughout the world, with the main markets being Europe, Latin America and the United States. To meet the specific needs of each market – which encompasses everything from technical requirements to cultural, geographical and legislative differences –, the company invests in the development of tailor-made products for the best performance in varying regions. Furthermore, it has authorized retread centers, permanent regional teams and company-owned distribution units in strategic locations, providing complete support to international customers. Vipal, which boasts growing exports of the past 10 years, has closed 2013 with an impressive US$120 million in sales to the foreign market.

Currently, besides its three manufacturing plants in Brazil, it has branch offices and Distribution Centers in the United States, Mexico, Spain, Germany, Slovenia, Australia, Colombia, Argentina and Chile. VL130 ECO tire tread

Product From Vipal Rubber Corp.

The Vipal VL130 ECO is a tread design that complies with the strictest fuel-efficiency and gas-emission standards in the U.S.A. and Europe. The VL130 ECO has low-rolling resistance to generate less heat, ensuring less casing fatigue, according to the company. The lighter tread weight contributes to elevating the tire’s retreadability index. The grooves were designed to minimize the retention of stones and other objects. Recommended for use on free axles of vehicles in the long-haul freight segment, these treads include rounded shoulders that ensure a reduction in the effects of lateral dragging.
