Parker Hannifin's HLB hose comes light weight and highly flexible, making it an easy to handle alternative to traditional hose and Parker tubing bundles reduce the installation time and material costs. When replacing rubber, the HLB hose can save $10 to $20 per line in reduced components and installation labor costs. Also, the unique GK Bulkhead hose fitting, with an integrated nipple, can save an additional $5 to $10 per zerk connection. Lastly, ther tubing bundles for lubrication require less grease to fill a lube system.
Pre-formed harnesses and bundles of Nylon Air Brake from Parker Hannifin can reduce installation time by more than 70 percent. Designed for use in tractor, trailer and other mobile air brake applications, time studies show an average chassis harness installation took four employees about 40 minutes to complete. However, with a Parker preformed harness, installation time dropped to 10 minutes and only one employee was required to complete the install. It comes in sizes 1/8" O.D. up to 3/4" O.D. and has a maximum working pressure of 150 psi. It can operate in temperatures as high as 200 degrees F.
Parker Hannifin's M8 E-Z Flex Hybrid Hose incorporates thermoplastic and rubber hose constructions. Able to handle high pressure applications without compromising flexibility, because it has a two-wire braid construction with four-spiral wire hose performance. This allows for a smaller O.D., creating a tighter bend radius and easier handling. The bend radius for a 5/8" I.D. E-Z flex hose is only 4". Competing rubber hoses of the same size I.D. need at least 8". The smaller O.D. allows for a tighter bend and greater flexibility. With mechanically bonded, rather than chemically bonded engineering, the hose has a low volumetric expansion.
Parker Hannifin's Bonded Hoses come in both a Twin-Line or Multi-Line configuration. Bonded hoses eliminate the problem of tangling in multiple hose applications. They also improve the management of the hose and increase the overall strength, eliminating some of the reasons hoses fail in the field. Consists of two identical hoses permanently joined for the entire length of the hose, offering a compact system for easy installation and smooth operation. Multi-Line hoses consist of two to ten hoses (or a maximum width of 10") in various combinations of sizes and types.
Parker Hannifin’s PAGE International Hose’s USP Class VI certified RCTW (Rubber Covered Fluoropolymer Hose) is designed to transfer materials without contaminating the integrity of the product. The hoses handle temperatures up to 300 degrees F/149 degrees C. The EPDM rubber covers the FEP tube with multi-layers of rubber and polyester reinforcement, with an added helical wire for support. The rubber and polyester insulates the tube, eliminating the risk for burns that are associated with stainless steel reinforcement, and the wire helix supports full vacuum service. Sizes range from 1/2” I.D. up to 4” I.D.
Parflex engineers have developed No. 518D non-conductive thermoplastic hose to withstand the harshest environments, both internally and externally. The core material in the hose is highly resistive to hydraulic fluids with aggressive additives that move through the hose over time (permeation). Parflex gave the No. 518D a special reinforcement package to reduce the reinforcement diameter, allowing for an increase in the thickness of the PFX cover. In lab studies, this improvement provided as much as five times more abrasion resistance than the current thermoplastic hoses used in this application. The No. 518D is available in 1/8", 3/16" and 1/4" sizes.
Parker Hannifin’s Lubrication Hoses from the Parflex Division are designed for grease and lubrication. Parflex HLB hose operates in temperatures from –40 to +212 degrees F. For extreme temperatures (–100 to +450 degrees F) Parflex 919 PTFE hose can be outfitted with the same style bulkhead grease zerk fitting as the HLB hose. For hand held grease gun applications, the Parflex 53GW hose is designed with steel fittings and bend restrictors to reduce the risk of grease injection injuries. Lubrication hoses are available in 1/8” and 3/16” sizes.

Parker Hannifin's TireSaver TS018-Wand is a robust, lightweight, portable nitrogen tire inflator that can be used to inflate the tires on a wide variety of vehicles, including cars and light trucks, motorcycles, powersports and trailers. When connected to an existing compressed air line, the wand will continuously produce an on-demand nitrogen supply. The exchangeable membrane cartridge technology is designed to service approximately 10,000 tires with nitrogen.
Parker Hannifin's Parker Tracking System (PTS) helps keep vehicles and machines running longer by increasing the speed, timing and accuracy of acquiring replacement hose assemblies. PTS has two key components. One is uniquely encoded tracking labels, affixed to the hose assembly at the time it is made, that incorporate visual data, barcodes and optional RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology. The second component is a Web-based PTS software system. Each tracking label code is cataloged in the PTS database. The code identifies several key pieces of information about the hose assembly including, where and when it was made; what hose, fittings and accessories were used; and the length of the hose. Special OEM features will include details about the asset in which the assembly is installed as well as other information. PTS expedites the replacement process by making "call ahead" or "site delivery" service possible as hose information is readily available.
