The WPS500X Automotive Pressure Transducer from Pico Technology provides quick and accurate pressure analysis of many automotive systems. It measures up to 500 psi, has zoom function for enhanced analysis, features an internal rechargeable LiPo battery, and has an integrated pressure relief/bleed-off valve.
The PicoScope 4423 oscilloscope from Pico Technology saves time and money by making it easier and quicker to diagnose faults. It has two or four channels, up to 80 MS/s real-time sample rate, up to 20 MHz bandwidth, 32,000,000 sample memory, 100V maximum input, and requires no power supply. The USB 2.0 connection provides for fast screen updates and protects against overloads and short circuits. It is CAN bus and FlexRay compatible.
The Pico Technology 4000 Series PicoScope Diagnostic Scope can capture signals four times faster than any other PicoScope automotive scope, according to the company – making it compatible with the new FlexRay standard. This unit features 32 MB of 'always on' memory, and the high +/-100V input range eliminates the need for external attenuators for most vehicle tests. The PicoScope 4000 Series can be purchased separately or as part of an automotive kit. Comes with a familiar graphical user interface, "Help" files and a reference library.
Pico Technology's Mixmaster secondary ignition signal mixer for automotive diagnostics produces a parade display of up to 12 cylinders using a single channel of an automotive oscilloscope. The Mixmaster can display two engine banks separately with up to six cylinders per bank on a two-channel scope. It has a set of four secondary ignition leads, three BNC leads to connect to the oscilloscope, an engine-block ground lead and an illustrated manual in English, French, Italian, German and Spanish. Additional features include a trigger output to synchronize the scope to a known cylinder, and an invert switch to deal with negative-going wasted-spark signals.
PicoScope 6 Automotive, the new version of Pico Technology's award-winning automotive diagnostic software, works with all versions of the Pico Automotive Oscilloscope Kit and offers higher performance as well as improved usability, appearance and features. PicoScope 6 includes over 70 built-in tests for most of the sensors and actuators in a typical vehicle. Each test includes a detailed reference topic with example waveforms, technical information, photos and diagrams. A fast capture read makes it easier to see fast-moving signals and clearer graphics and text, while tool tips and help messages allow for stress-free use.
Universal Breakout Leads For Engine Diagnostics Pico Technology's new 6-Way Universal Breakout Leads allow you to connect your PicoScope Automotive Oscilloscope to a vast array of components in the engine bay without having to strip or pierce insulation, and with no risk of damage to connectors, according to the company. Each lead possesses 6 blades wired to 6 sockets, which allows you to insert the lead between a plug and socket pair. Each lead also has 6 additional 4-mm banana sockets to connect to the TA000 test leads included in the PicoScope Automotive Oscilloscope Kit. Lead blade sizes of 1.5, 2.3 and 2.8 mm are available.
Pico Technologies makes testing electrical components easier with their popular Oscilloscope Diagnostics Kit
Pico will be showcasing their latest diagnostic product, the Four-Channel PC Oscilloscope Kit at AAPEX. The PicoScope 3423 Automotive Oscilloscope is a USB PC oscilloscope capable of capturing waveforms from up to 4 sensors at once. The unit can be used in the workshop or on the road and measures almost all of the electrical and electronic components and systems on a modern motor vehicle.
Pico Technology recently updated their Two-Channel Automotive Oscilloscope Kit with a USB interface. The unit is supplied with PicoScope® software for collecting, displaying, storing and analyzing vehicle data. The software also provides a test reference library, tutorials on over 50 topics, and waveform illustrations. Provided accessories include current clamps, ignition pickups, test leads and probes in a hard carry case for testing sensors, components, circuits and actuators, including ignition, injectors, ABS, lambda oxygen sensors, relative compression, fuel pumps and CAN bus. And now the unit can be connected and powered through the USB port on any PC or laptop, eliminating the need for a power supply or batteries. Additional upgrades include an improved sampling rate of 20MS/s, a 12-bit resolution and a larger buffer memory for 512k samples. The PicoScope® Automotive software can be continually updated with free upgrades at the company's website. Lifetime technical support is also provided.
High Performance PC Oscilloscopes Pico has announced a new series of high-performance PC oscilloscopes. The new 3000 Series contains the PicoScope 3204, 3205 and 3206 models, with all 3 models being able to connect to a PC through a USB2.0, drawing their power from the PC, so there is no need for a separate power source. All 3 models also feature:
